Louis Riché was a pupil of Gardet and Perrin.
From 1897 he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français sculptures, treated with naturalism, emphasizing the theme of the cat.
He also works on other animal breeds and passes easely from cats to felines.
He works with wax, marble, bronze and terracotta.
